Apple announces iWork for iPad
It was a high possibility that Apple would release a new version of iWork for 2010, but no one really saw iWork coming to the brand new Apple iPad. Well, that’s exactly what Steve Jobs just introduced live on stage. Pages, Numbers and Keynote will all be available on the iPad, each with its own new beautiful interface.

It’s here—it’s official. Apple has just announced the Apple iPad. Steve Jobs said on stage that the iPad will be “… way better than a laptop, way better than an phone.” It looks, as you can see, quite similar to the iPhone and iPod touch. It has the same home screen button and the same icons (albeit more spread out).
Apple reportedly using all of the 10.1 inch LCD and OLED screens
Over the course of CES, TG Daily came upon a rather interesting rumor after talking to various vendors. As it goes, some companies were trying to get 10 inch screens to use with their products but were met with months and months of struggle thanks to Apple. Apparently, our favorite Cupertino company has pre-ordered so many 10 inch LCD and OLED screens that the Asian manufacturers aren’t able to supply other companies with what they need.
Chilli X looks at software possibilities for the rumored Apple tablet
Chilli X, the creator of a couple iPhone applications, has blogged about some interesting abilities for software developers when given hardware such as the Apple tablet, which may be announced later this month. Basically, they’re saying that the extra screen real estate will allow for much more complex and useful applications.
