Snow Leopard to take advantage of iPhone multi touch and location tools

Just as the iPhone operating system that we all know and love today is based off of Mac OS X, Mac OS X will now be using features that were originally developed for the iPhone Touch OS. Recent scouring of the most recent Snow Leopard release shows that developers can now use the CoreLocation framework that was previously only for the iPhone SDK. This will allow Macs, like the first version of the iPhone, to use a sort of triangulation technique to find their current location. Although it won’t be as amazing as the iPhone GPS, it will be a nice step towards that direction.
