Kevin Rose: “Apple’s iTV will change everything”

Kevin Rose of Digg.com appears to have received more insider information about the so-called iTV. With iOS TV applications and a la carte video, Kevin believes it could change the way we get our media through content producers. However, he also sees it as a perfect fit for families at the reasonable price of $99. And since so many people have iPads, he also points out something fairly obvious: the iPad would make one killer remote for the device.

Rumor: Next Apple TV to be $99, foster cloud storage, use iPhone OS 4.0

Some interesting rumors about what the next version of the Apple TV may include are now floating around the Web. According to a source “very close to Apple,” the device will contain internal components much like that of the iPhone—from the A4 chip to only 16GB internal memorybut, it will also be capable of 1080p HD and offer a Time Machine connection. The best part, though, is a potential price drop to $99.

Apple to release Apple TV software for use on any Mac?

With MacWorld right around the corner, now is about the time when the rumors start to come from every direction. One such rumor that has recently popped up concerns the Apple TV, a multimedia platform for TVs. This rumor states that the software on Apple TV will become available for any Mac computer via a special download or separate box of software. The price for this software will be anywhere from free to $99. However, it gets sort of interesting when the rumor states that this may allow for a special gaming section of the App Store where users can then turn their iPhone or iPod Touch into a gaming controller for their TV. Do you believe it?

Apple TV refresh also a possibility

I think a wrecking ball just broke through the ceiling of the building I’m sitting in, because bricks are flying everywhere. Hey, look up in the sky! It’s a MacBook Touch…no, a Mac Mini Pro…no, it’s an Apple TV!

Okay, so here’s another rumor to be taken with all that salt your doctor keeps telling you to cut back on. The Apple brick may actually be a refresh of the Apple TV.

For those about to rock, one more thing…

I’ve got one last rumor before we start rocking here, and I certainly want to believe this one. It’s just too good to pass by.

The rumor states that the Apple TV is about to be refreshed along with the iPod nano today. And not just a software update, but new hardware and capabilities as well.

Check out the rumor list after the break.
