Age of Enigma is coming soon to iPad, but wouldn’t rather play it now on your Mac? If you can’t make up your mind, try out Zombie Area, which is now available for both Mac and iOS Devices. It’s time to start considering holiday gifts, and iPhone Coasters and mophie’s special edition (RED) products may be a good place to start. Apps aren’t always great gifts, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t great, especially need some Alien Buddies, a Recipes Genius, help with your Middle School Writing, an a-MAZE-in Vacation Adventure, a Figaro Wig and some Bach Classical Guitar.

November 29, 2011, Macintosh product updates

After a few days off to focus on Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, the roundup returns with gaming news for World of Warcraft and Trine fans. We’ve also got announcements regarding ExactScan Pro 2, Disk Drill and Presto, so head inside to what you and your Mac have been missing.

November 22, 2011, iPhone, iPad and iPod touch new releases

Konami has released Frogger Free in honor of Frogger’s 30th anniversary (although I like to think it’s in memory of songwriter Gary Garcia, who gave us “Froggy’s Lament”). Other notable announcements today include Good or Bad?, Tasty Planet: Back for Seconds, Photo Table, Rick O’Shea, iBall 38, Dream Zoo, Island Tribe 2 and Biscuit Gives a Gift. There’s plenty more, of course, but you’ll have to head inside to discover what.

If you’ve got an old-school Mac geek in your family, Susan Kare’s ICONS book is about as fantastic as a gift can get. And if you need to keep track of your gift giving, the Bento 4 Holiday Kit will do the trick. Your other announcements today include iWatermark Pro, Scrawl, Type2Phone, High Stakes, Output Factory and customizable Tracks and Tracks HD headphones from SOL Republic.

November 21, 2011, iPhone, iPad and iPod touch new releases

Aesop is ready to teach the iPad kids a thing or two, and Dr. Who fans can be all geeky while raising money for charity. Cinderella makes an appearance today, too, but I think we’re mostly more geared up about Fullmetal Battle from the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood anime series, right? Other announcements include HuntedApp, Hiding Hannah, Gogo Sushi, Island Tribe 2, Santa Monica Montains National Recreation Area, The LeftOvers and plenty more.

November 21, 2011, Macintosh product updates

Whether you’re looking to become a Battlefield Hero or a Dungeon Overlord, all you need is a Mac and an Internet connection. In fact, that’s also all you need to play Mission: Impossible The Game. Or Mission Impossible: The Game. Mission: Impossible: The Game. I don’t know. I’m just going to move on to Cocktail 4.9.6 (Snow Leopard Edition), okay?

November 18, 2011, iPhone, iPad and iPod touch new releases

The NFL is well represented today through Professional Football Streaming News, Football Connect and NFL Flick Quarterback. I bet Tim Tebow’s no good at that, and I bet he and Broncos fans don’t care. I also bet many of you don’t care, so let’s get to the tech stuff. Stuffy like Bag It!, Joker Poker 88, Look Again Jr., Camera Butterfly, Angry Hippo, Shiny Treasure, Kick the Buddy, Youreka, Manny Pacquiao: Pound for Pound, Chromian Wars and more. Enjoy yourself.

Next week is World of Warcraft’s birthday. Happy birthday, World of Warcraft! Do you think it’s tacky to buy it Jurassic Park: The Game? Just to be safe, you can buy it for yourself, instead, then give it something like TuneUp, Cocktail or the Tiffen Dfx v3 digital filter suite. Your other update today is SeedCode Complete for FileMaker Pro 11, but we really should be focusing on dinosaurs and orcs.
