April Fools: ThinkGeek’s Playmobil Apple Store [video]

About the only thing I look forward to on April Fools Day, other than its end, is ThinkGeek’s April Fools’ products that sometimes materialize later in the year. This year, they’ve done it again with the Playmobil Apple Store. It’s an Apple Store for your own home. Not only does it tug at your heart strings, it tugs at your wallet at a staggering $179.99. And just like a mouse with two physical buttons, you’ll never be able to buy it (if Apple has anything to say about it).

Apple to release keyless keyboard

In a press announcement released early today, Apple unveiled plans to release a keyboard that forgoes the standard QWERTY-style keyboard layout for a complete lack of keyboard layout. Dubbed the iBoard, the device—to be available in both wired and wireless models—will feature a sleek, aluminum look in line with the current iPod shuffle, iMac and MacBook models, and will feature a single, simple, device-wide button with which the user will interact.
