iPhone 3G snags Gadget of the Year award

According to the readers of Stuff magazine, the iPhone 3G is officially the Gadget of the Year. Beating out other gadgets such as the Xbox 360, Wii Fit, and the B&W Zeppelin iPod Speakers, the iPhone took its spot on at the top of the Podium. Some of the criteria by which the items were judged were value, performance, design, and, of course, the all-important “cool factor.”

Despite the fact that the iPhone 3G didn’t take the Editorial Award, the Reader’s Choice award is still a respectable accomplishment. The highest award instead went to the ASUS Eee PC. Despite a recent trio of iPhone performance lawsuits against Apple, it is good to see that the majority of the public still sees the iPhone in a good light.
