It’s Macworld week, possibly one of the worst weeks ever for a developer to try to get an app released during. But, as always, some made it through.

I didn’t intend this, but the majority of the apps on my list this week involve cards. There’s just something about card games that keeps players coming back. Sure, you can run around in the newest FPS and frag opponents at 50+ frames per second, but after a while, you might find yourself getting bored. And that’s when I turn to solitaire. I really don’t know what it is about card games, but here’s a few along with some other great free apps.
