Feral games return to Mac App Store
Feral games announced today that they’re returning to the Mac App Store, restoring their previously-available LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and Rome: Total War, as well as adding Bioshock and Borderlands. The company, which ports games to the Mac platform, had briefly offered the first two before file corruption problems caused Feral to pull them. Those issues are now resolved, and the games are available for purchase once again.
Appletell reviews Bioshock for Mac OS X
You want to beware a fellow who’s motto is “No gods or kings. Only man.” Chances are that such a man would fill those voids himself if given the chance. That’s pretty much what you’re up against in Bioshock, Feral’s latest Mac release. Bioshock is one of the prettiest, most enjoyable, violent and disturbing games I’ve ever played on the Macintosh. I can safely say I haven’t been this engrossed in a first-person shooter since Deus Ex.
Welcome to Rapture: BioShock comes to the Mac October 7th
Note to city planners everywhere. If you name your community Happydale or Utopiatown or Sunnypeacefuleternityville, you’re setting yourself up for an ironic plunge into the depths of horror…especially if it’s an underwater community. Such as is the case with Rapture, the setting in the acclaimed game BioShock. Why bring this up here? Because Mac users will get the chance to explore this world when Feral Interactive releases the Mac version on October 7th.
