Black Friday shipping fail
Looks like with all those iPods and bad Christmas movie DVDs everyone’s buying, Amazon is running out of boxes. Jason Coe over at Appmodo bought a simple little car charger last week, and Amazon shipped it to him in a box nearly big enough for said car’s spare tire. Now, obviously, this is bad for both Amazon’s bottom line and for the environment, yet we see it quite often. Why?

How did Black Friday Go for Apple?
If you’ve been reading Appletell for the last week, you know there were lots of great Black Friday deals on Apple’s products. Apple hasn’t offically relased a statement of how well they did, but we have a few stats…
iPod, Mac items on Amazon’s Black Friday list
While Apple has their own Black Friday event, online retailer Amazon is having a wide-ranging sale on just about everything, including some iPod accessories and Mac software. Oh, and the top thirteen mp3 players are all iPods. And let’s not forget Amazon’s Apple Store, which is offering a competitive advantage against Apple’s own Black Friday pricing. Here’s what we’ve found so far, though they’re adding new deals throughout the day…
Special one-day Apple shopping event now official
We’ve been speculating for a few days now on what sort of Apple Store Black Friday sales event we’d see, and it’s now been officially unveiled. First, you get free shipping on any order over $50, which brings Apple in line with other online retailers (still have to pay taxes, though). Apple’s also offering free engraving on all new iPods. Beyond that, pretty much everything’s on sale, from the iMac and MacBook Pro to the iPod, Apple TV and iWork.

You won’t believe the apps that companies are just giving away this year, but you have to get them now.

Black Friday 2009: More deals on Apple hardware
If Apple’s rumored Black Friday sale isn’t quite good enough for you, know this; there are other options. Best Buy will be having a Black Friday Apple sale of their own, if the image above is to be believed, and in some cases it will beat the Apple sale. But that’s not all; MacMall.com is currently running a very impressive sale on MacBook Pros.
Microsoft offering Black Friday discounts on Office for Mac
