Psystar seems to think Blu-ray is more than just a “bag of hurt”

We all know Apple (or should I say, Steve Jobs) doesn’t like Blu-ray, as shown in the most recent refresh of their MacBook and MacBook Pro line, but that doesn’t mean their clone, Psystar, can’t like the hi-def goodness. And they are doing a fine job of showing that fact. On Tuesday, October 28th, Psystar, who is still in on ongoing lawsuit with Apple, announced that their Mac OS X PCs will now ship with a Blu-ray drive as well as NVIDIA 9800GT graphics cards. Does this mean anything to Apple, who has yet to include (or not include) Blu-ray drives into their machines? Probably not.

The question now remains; who is making the smarter choice here?
