BoinxTV is an ingenious compositing program, designed for people who want to do professional webcasts. The program works in layers, allowing you to do dynamic backgrounds, multiple video sources, overlays, live web searches and fly-ins using a simple, intuitive user interface. It’s astonishingly easy to use, and is a great tool for the purpose of creating a professional-looking webcast, easily configurable to your needs.

On Friday morning of MacWorld 2010, Guy Kawasaki showcased five iPhone/Mac developers and gave each one a chance to show off the innovative things they are doing. Guy is a former “Evangelist” for Apple and is currently the co-founder of Alltop. Let’s take a brief glimpse at the apps and developers that were showcased: Square, Hearplanet, Boinx TV, Bing and Bill Atkinson PhotoCard.

Boinx, the makers of iStopMotion, FotoMagico and Mouseposé have partnered with TheCodingMonkeys to release BoinxTV, a live production application that turns any mac into a full production studio. It includes a full suite of tools for recording a live show.
