MacSoft updates Clue and Life for the Mac
MacSoft has generally seen success with their modern spins on classic board games, so why not take a shot with a couple family favorites? Your family, anyway. Not mine. My family’s favorite games were Bonkers and Beat Up Your Little Brother Until the Commercials End. Regardless, if the dining room table just feels a little too passe, you can now play The Game of Life: Path to Success, and will soon be able to play Clue Classic on your Macintosh.
Ubisoft makes a deal with Transgaming; more games coming to the Mac
Following in the footsteps of Electronic Arts, Ubisoft has signed a deal with Trangaming to wrap their titles in Cider and port them to the Mac. The news has already received mixed reviews. The list of Cider games for the Mac is underwhelming, and it really hasn’t proven itself when it comes to Mac games.
When I heard the news, I was excited. Ubisoft has a lot of game titles that I would love to play on my Mac: Prince of Persia, Assassins Creed, Far Cry 2, and Beyond Good and Evil (which is currently in the pre-development stage.

Macgamestore unleashes Fitness Frenzy Mac game
Macgamestore has released a Gogii Games application called Fitness Frenzy, in which the user must “…help all sorts of people, from newbie joggers to muscle-bound weight lifters, reach their personal goals.” You play the game as a fitness trainer named Vicki, and help your clients reach their goals using your fitness knowledge.
