If you’re a watcher of Diggnation, then you already know Alex Albrecht was “shocked” to hear how low the price of the long rumored Apple tablet will be. Diggnation doesn’t have a spotless record as far as Apple rumors go, but they have occasionally been right in the past. Alex doesn’t really even have a record for such leaks like this, but even if he is just having fun with all of us, what price point for Apple’s tablet would cause you to be shocked?

During the latest live taping of Diggnation, Kevin Rose went on record by stating that Apple will finally be including copy and paste functionality with iPhone OS 3.0. Mr. Rose has a fairly decent track record when it comes to breaking some Apple rumors, so when you combine that with the necessity of copy and paste on what is already the world’s best phone (albeit with flaws), you start to believe.

If you watched the last episode of Diggnation, you will have noticed that Kevin Rose released an exclusive rumor about a second-generation iPhone. During the episode, he mentioned that third-party developers are restricted to only applications that run in the foreground, not in the background – there is also no dedicated IM client for the iPhone at this point in time. This is because Apple will be releasing a new iPhone in a few months, with 3G connectivity and two cameras; this will enable mobile iChat video at decent quality thanks to 3G.
