Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 now available

Back in early April, Adobe announced Creative Suite 5.5, along with a new update schedule and subscription. Today, it all comes together with the release of the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 product family. Chief amongst the updates are advances in HTML5 and Flash authoring, innovation in the areas of video production and editing, and new capabilities in digital publishing, including delivery of Apple iOS and other mobile devices and tablets.

Breaking from their standard cycle of major Creative Suite updates every 18 months or so, Adobe Systems Incorporated has announced the new Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 product line, “…enabling designers and developers to target popular and emerging smartphone and tablet platforms, as the revolution in mobile communications fundamentally changes the way content is distributed and consumed.”

Appletell reviews Dreamweaver CS5

If Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 were a football team, it’d be the type that would make coaches, owners and fans bang their head against the wall. On paper, it’s all talent and potential. It’s big plays and high scores. Dreamweaver CS5 does this. However, it’s also missed tackles and bad blocking. It’s dumb decisions. The drawbacks aren’t enough to kill the program’s functionality, but they are enough to make me believe the developers are just never going to get it.
