The Facebook app for the iPhone has received an update that brings Timeline to the mobile users. Facebook users will need to have already set up Timeline on their desktop account in order to view and edit it on the iPhone. iPad support for the feature is “coming soon,” though no exact release schedule is given.

The Facebook iPhone application has been amongst the top downloaded applications on the App Store from it’s release. Since then, it has come a long way in terms of development and what it is capable of.
