Batman: Arkham Asylum for OS X review

Batman: Arkham Asylum is the most satisfying Macintosh game experience I’ve had in a long, long time. This is impressive, because I’m only marginally interested in Batman, or superheroes of any type, really. But I love a good action adventure, and when you consider that Batman: Arkham Asylum is pretty much just Tomb Raider with better combat and a much cooler lead character, it’s easy to see how it completely took over my evenings for about two weeks.

Mafia II: Director’s Cut hits the Mac on December 1st

Know what I’m happy about? Never in life have I been in a friendship or a business where someone had to tell me, “This has nothing to do with friendship, Vito. This is business.” For one thing, my name’s not Vito. For another, I prefer to keep such drama in my games. So does Feral Interactive, as the company announced today they’re bringing the gangster adventure, Mafia II: Director’s Cut to OS X.

Tropico 3: Gold Edition for Mac to arrive in January

What’s the point of being on an island if you can’t rule it, manipulate its media and erect a few intimidating statues of yourself, right? Such is the fun of Haemimont Games’ Tropico 3: Gold Edition, which Feral Interactive will be releasing for Macintosh in January 2012. Tropico 3 is a re-imagining of the classic strategic city-builder and humorous political simulator Tropico.

Batman: Arkham Asylum now available for OS X

Batman: Arkham Asylum, developed by Rocksteady Studios and published for Mac by Feral Interactive, is now available for OS X via digital download and DVD. It’s a few weeks late, but we can’t really blame that on Batman; he got delayed when he had a very difficult time trying to get rid of a bomb.
