Father’s Day weekend sale for Real Racing 1 and 2
Okay, so Firemint doesn’t specifically call this a Father’s Day sale, but it’s happening on Father’s Day weekend, and dads do like racing, right? Some of them, maybe? If so, here’s your chance to pick up two of the biggest selling racing games for Apple’s iDevices—Real Racing and Real Racing 2—at “massive savings.”

Free apps update for December 17th, 2010
This week on the App Store there are a ton more games, but that’s not all. I also found a number of great utilities: more location tracking, a translator from the future and a great news app. And, as always, a decent number of these are limited time freebies. Grab ‘em while they’re free.
Real Racing 2 now available on the App Store
After weeks of teasing us with an image here and a video there, FireMint’s Real Racing 2 is finally available on the App Store. Somehow, they’ve managed to make the game look even better than the original, with 30 licensed cars detailed in the high performance Mint3D engine. Single player gaming has 16 car grids. When you go online, you’ll be able to race against 15 other people. That’s a first for any iOS game.
Firement releases Real Racing 2 video preview
Earlier this month, Firemint announced are were close to bringing Real Racing 2 to the iPhone. If you’ve never played Real Racing, you’ve likely seen it…it’s the racing game Apple likes to show off in their iDevice commercials. Jake Gaecke wrote our Real Racing review, giving it a 4 out of 5 rating. So, what can we expect from Real Racing 2? Well, real cars for starters. Check the video after the break.
Appletell reviews Real Racing HD for iPad
Firemint hit it big with Real Racing for iPhone, and now they’re back with Real Racing HD. This racing game is looking better than ever on the much larger display of the iPad. It has all the features you’ve come to love in the regular version, but with bigger and better graphics. If the iPhone version is feeling cramped to you, or you just want to race on your iPad, this is the answer.
Appletell reviews Firemint’s Real Racing for iPhone and iPod touch
I know, I know, another racing game. But any gaming platform has its (fair?) share of racing games, and the iPhone is no exception. And I think you’ll find that Real Racing is a step ahead of the rest, unless you’re a racing purist, or if you just plain don’t like to go fast.
Appletell previews Firemint’s RealRacing for iPhone, iPod touch
Racing games; there sure are a lot of them, and the iPhone is no exception. But Firemint’s Real Racing could be different. It’s a beautiful racing game with controls that are spot on, considering the current iPhone button (or lack there of) situation. This game shows a lot of promise for its debut on the App Store. I’ve had a chance to preview Firemint’s Real Racing, and I can say that it is amazing thus far.
Real Racing: another iPhone racing game to get excited about
There are probably too many racing games already made for the iPhone, but that isn’t stopping Firemint from developing a game named “Real Racing.”
Real Racing is exactly what it sounds like. It’s an accelerometer controlled car racing game that looks fantastic.
