Free Apps roundup for May 1st, 2009
Another relatively quiet week on the App Store. But don’t worry, there were still plenty of fun and useful apps to be had. Mostly demos, but there’s also a nice app to record audio with. And yes, I know it’s coming in iPhone 3.0, but this one is fun. Check it out.

Like your iPhone doesn’t have enough apps already. Oh well, that never stopped me, and it shouldn’t stop you either…well, that is, unless you’ve hit the upper limit. Take a peak at this week’s list, we have the usual assortment of game demos and useful free apps. You might even find out how to save a life towards the end with wikiHow. And be sure to stay tuned for the next Appletellcast for an interview with Chris Hadley from wikiHow.
Free Apps roundup for April 9th, 2009
Nothing too huge on the App Store this week, but as always, there were quite a few hidden gems. Take a look at what I found; I’m sure you’ll find something useful. This week you’ll be able to expand you vocab, pretend your car is a jet, wrap some string around objects and waste some time with other games. Enjoy.
Free Apps roundup for April 3rd, 2009
A little bit of a quieter week on the App Store, but we did see one big release. That would be Skype, of course. But, don’t worry, there were at least a few other cool freebies. So be sure to check out the list.
Free Apps Roundup for February 27th, 2008
There were really a ton of great apps to be released this week, so it was more difficult to choose the best apps this week, otherwise this list would go on and on and on. As usual, I’ve got a great selection of both apps and games. So, here it is, my list of the best new apps from the past week.
Freeapps roundup for February 20th, 2009
Last week started out kind of slow as far as quality free apps are concerned, but don’t worry, I still found a bunch of gems during the week. This time the apps actually outnumber the games: Streamer, Superpages, Learn Chess, Yummy Browser, Megaphone, Tower Bloxx Deluxe 3D Free, and Deal or No Deal Million Dollar Missions.
Free apps round-up for February 13th, 2009
Today is Friday the 13th, which I think is hilarious. Obviously Tomorrow is Valentine’s day, which either makes you ecstatic or depressed. I’ve got a few apps for the love birds this week. There’s a piano app so you can make a sweet love song, and an Emoji enabler, so you can send your true feelings to your partner. But let’s be honest; Valentine’s Day sucks unless you’re not single, which doesn’t imply it’s awesome, either. Don’t worry, it will all be over soon…
Free Apps Roundup for February 6th, 2009
It seems every week there are more and more good game demos becoming available. They’re great for wasting time, and probably long enough for you to lose interest. So, who cares if you can’t play the full game? You’d get sick of it after an hour anyway right?
Free Apps Roundup for January 16th, 2009
This week saw a surprising amount of quality 3D games hit the App Store. Plus, Apple loosened up on the internet browsers, though you likely already have Google’s fake Chrome that they snuck in a while ago. This week: Instant Motivator Free, Burning Tires 3D Lite, Action Bowling Free, Toy Tanks 3D Lite, Edge Browser and Wellness.
Free Apps Roundup for January 9th, 2009
It’s Macworld week, possibly one of the worst weeks ever for a developer to try to get an app released during. But, as always, some made it through.
