That’s 30+ more »
Adventure returns to the Mac courtesy of Jack Keane
Normally, an announcement such as this would go right to the daily Macintosh/iPhone software update round-up, but when it’s pirates and it’s adventure and it’s Freeverse, I have to make an exception.
An article at Apple’s website offers details on Jack Keane, an adventure game developed by Deck13 Interactive and originally published for the PC by RuneSoft. Now, the fine folks at Freeverse will be bringing it to the Macintosh by the end of the month.
Freeverse game giveaway winner announced
Last week, Appletell ran a contest in which our readers were asked to tell us what they’d race across the globe to save if it was ever stolen from them. The contest was inspired by Freeverse’s Wingnuts Moto Racer for the iPhone, which, along with Big Bang Sudoku for iPhone and Hordes of Orcs and Big Bang Brain Games for the Mac/PC were the prizes.
Answers ranged from dogs to children to tasty breakfast foods and beyond, but in the end, we had to give the contestant who not only touched his iPhone, but our hearts as well.

Freeverse’s Moto Racer and Sudoku in iPhone App Store
Freeverse announced its Moto Racer and Big Bang Sudoku games for iPhone and iPod Touch are now available from the new Apple App Store. Video trailers and screenshots for both games are available on the Freeverse website.
“Over the years, we’ve always tried to be among the first to adopt new Apple technologies and platforms, but we’ve never been more excited than we are at this moment with the launch of the Apple App Store,” said Ian Lynch Smith, President of Freevese. “The iPhone is an amazing gaming device, and Freeverse is committed to building great titles for it. Moto Racer exists on no other platform but the iPhone, and, as designed, there is just no other mobile platform for which it even could exist.”
Details after the break.
