Is this proof iTunes 7.7 will accept web apps not sold through the App Store?

Kind of. Gabe Jacobs put up a video in which you can see him drag an app into a developers’ release of iTunes 7.7, and it does show up in an “iPhone and iPod touch Apps” area. What the video doesn’t show, however, is whether said app will sync with the iPhone and iPod touch. more »
