Macworld 2010: Stunt Squirrels wins GameSalad Challenge
Gendai Games, in conjunction with IDG and the Macworld Expo, has officially announced the winner of the Macworld 2010 GameSalad Challenge: Stunt Squirrels by Fire Maple Games. The winner was determined by the judges’ decision on Saturday afternoon at Macworld Expo. Stunt Squirrels—a physics puzzler—features blasting death-defying daredevils safely to a goal, while navigating tricky mazes and high-flying obstacles.
GameSalad Challenge game design finalists announced
The GameSalad Challenge finalists have been announced. Why should this matter to you? Because the winners will be announced at Macworld Expo 2010, and until TellTale Games hopped on board, the GameSalad Challenge was all the gaming you were going to get there. Those attending Macworld Expo can stop by booth #1478 to play the finalists’ games, attend various training sessions on the GameSalad tool, and participate in a daily mini-game jam on the show floor where the winner receives a GameSalad Express Membership as a prize.
A healthy gaming appetizer at Macworld 2010
Anyone who’s attended the last few Macworld Expos in San Francisco can tell you that Mac gaming has been fading to a distant memory. With no Apple at Macworld 2010 in February, Mac gaming is a blink away from disappearing completely; stalwarts such as Freeverse, Feral and Ambrosia will not be attending. In a last second effort to save the day, Gendai Games and IDG World Expo have announced the “Macworld 2010 GameSalad Challenge.”
