Zazzle iDevice Case Sales

Christmas is over for most of you. I hope it was a good one. Gifts have been delivered, food has been served, decorations have been admired…got some money left? If so, a couple companies would like for you to treat yourself. They’ve got some suggestions to make, and are sweetening the offer with iPhone and more »

iPhone 4S case announcements, round 2

As we mentioned in yesterday’s iPhone 4S case roundup, your old iPhone 4 cases are going to work just fine on Apple’s latest model. But that’s not stopping developers from rolling out new models in honor of the occasion, or just reminding us of what’s already there. And today, we’ve got announcements from Marware, XtremeMac, The Callet, Belkin and GelaSkins.

GelaSkins iPad 2 skins review

Skins are great. They offer excellent protection from scratches and scuffs, they can be used with third party docking devices and the majority of cases available, they’re compatible with Apple’s Smart Cover, and they allow you to add your own personality to the iPad 2. When it comes time to pick one, GelaSkins is the first place you should look. They may be a bit more expensive than some other options out there, but the quality, precision and wonderful designs will be worth it.

Custom GelaSkins cover for iPhone 4 review

When it comes to getting cases or skins for your iDevices, you certainly have plenty of options nowadays. However, there’s no doubt that some companies do it better than others. GelaSkins is one of those companies. From the moment this custom skin arrived in the mail to when I had it on my phone, the process was smooth and 100% less frustrating than some of the skins I’ve used in the past.

Unlike some other skin companies, GelaSkins focuses less on product placement and more on art. Modern artists, underground artists, classic artists…the collection is wide open, and there’s bound to be someone you’ll like. Although there are some product tie-ins, you won’t be able to use a GelaSkins model to promote your favorite football team or Twilight character. You do, however, get one thing that other skin manufacturers don’t offer.

Appletell reviews GelaSkins and MusicSkins for iPhone 4

More and more, I’m becoming a fan of skins for my iDevices. I like that they protect the products without adding extra bulk, I like that I can still use them with cases and holsters when necessary, and I like that they provide numerous options for me to customize my case with something beyond a color or pattern. MusicSkins and GelaSkins were quick to offer iPhone 4 designs, and I’ve had the chance to try them both out.

iPhone 3G Slim Case Showdown – second edition

When it comes to the iPhone, there are two types of cases: actually, that’s not at all true. There’s a ridiculous number of types of cases. And since I’m not about to base an entire roundup review on a faulty premise, we’ll just pretend I never said that and get right to the review. Here, we’re looking solely at thin cases for the iPhone 3G and its “S”ister.

Macbook Air laser etched

When Philip Torrone was questioned if the Macbook air could be etched by a friend, he decided to laser etch a monkey into. Having already done this with other MacBooks, he was familiar with the method and explained that it would work on the MacBook Air. Philip says they you’ll need “100 power / 100 more »
