iTunes movie review: 300

Ah, 300. The testosterone-soaked film famous for depicting one of the legendary events of western civilization, mostly through slow-motion yelling. Three hundred Spartan warriors face off against an immense invasion by holing up in a bottleneck. It works pretty well, until it doesn’t. Endlessly parodied and debated, 300 does not know the meaning of the word “subtle.” It’s about men, manly men fighting a manly battle against incredible odds.
