Google releases AdMob iPhone OS SDK, adds App Store links to mobile search
Google-bought AdMob is now expanding its iPhone OS SDK to support iPad native apps. By giving developers two new ad formats—an iPad Text and Tile ad as well as an iPad Image ad—AdMob hopes to remain a viable competitor to the upcoming Apple iAd platform. AdMob’s ads will be available in 300×250, 728×90, and 468×60 pixels, and can now host interactive content much like Apple’s platform will do.
