Free apps roundup for February 11th, 2011
This week on the Free Apps Roundup: Not so good with the Spanish you supposedly “learned” in high school? No worries, Google’s Translate now has an official app on iPhone that can speak for you. If you’re sick of Facebook, you may like the more personal nature of Path. If you’re just joining us thanks to Verizon, you’ll be happy to pick up some of the free games below, and there are enough to keep you occupied for some time. Let’s get to it.
Google Translate app now available for iOS devices
Google has just released the native iOS version of its Google Translate service which was previously available only for iPhone users as an HTML5 web app. The native iOS app brings all the features of the web app plus other new features such as speak to translate, audio translation and full-screen mode. Available now as a free downlaod, Google Translate app supports iPhone or iPod Touch with OS version higher than 3.0.
