iPhone Appidemic: Hercules – Curse of the Hydra

Hercules – Curse of the Hydra is a solid platformer that combines all the essential elements. Your main character is Hercules, you will be tasked to go through a linear game progression: facing various enemies, jumping from one place to another, hacking creatures into destruction, unlocking rewards and bonuses. The game features 16 levels set in the streets of Athens, deserts, the underworld and other mythical places which you’ve probably studied in your literature class.

CES 2011: Hercules’ new XPS 101 2.1 speaker system

Hercules has announced their newest addition to the XPS speaker line: the Hercules XPS 101 system. In addition to being a high-end 2.1 audio system, the system is very attractive. Hercules is really trying to appeal to all of your senses with the XPS 101. It’ll be available to grace your living room or office for $249 later this month.

Appletell reviews the Hercules XPS 2.1 50 Speaker Kit

The name Hercules comes with certain expectations. Personally, I think of two things: shiny, bare-chested, overdubbed dudes and this giant pinball machine at Cedar Point with a pool ball for a pinball. It’s kind of a negative connotation, now that I consider it, as the Hercules movies were always pretty bad, and the Hercules pinball machine was never really that fun to play. So, was the Hercules XPS 2.1 50 Speaker Kit also a let down? Not really, but it’s not exactly a champion of speaker systems, either.

Full review past the break.
