Not so very long ago, I gave a preview of Boxee, a media center for your Mac, Linux, or AppleTV based setup. Though I loved the idea, there were some major criticisms that prevented me from using it as my main media program.

Well, this week Boxee has a new version out that has cleaned up the UI, and added support for Hulu, Comedy Central, and CBS.com full episodes. After the break, I outline what they’ve fixed and what still needs working on.

I recently made a plan for a home entertainment setup I’d like to get working in the near future. It was a definite that it would include an Apple product, either a Mac Mini or an Apple TV. I ended up going with the Mac Mini, and in this article I’ll outline why and what the Apple TV could add to prevent more people from making decisions like mine.
