iTunes 10.2 available, adds support for iOS 4.3

Along with all of the exciting things that came with yesterday’s iPad 2 event comes the public release of iTunes 10.2. The new update adds support for the upcoming iOS 4.3, which will be released alongside the iPad 2 on March 11th for the most recent iDevices: iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 GSM, iPad, iPad 2, and the 3rd and 4th generations of the iPod touch (Verizon iPhone 4 owners are left out for now).

2nd gen Apple TV closing in on 1 million sold

I’m pretty sure I wasn’t the one who caused the 2nd gen Apple TV to skyrocket in sales, even if I just got my unit today. It’s coincidental, I suppose, although I do wish I was the one millionth buyer. Anyway, Apple has announced that the sales of the new Apple TV will hit the one million mark any day from now. Apple TV provides you with a simple way to watch your favorite HD movies and TV Shows on—and stream Netflix, Flickr, YouTube and MobileMe content to—your HDTV.

Apple releases iTunes 9 [Update: now available.]

Apple has just released the latest version of iTunes at the September 9th event in San Francisco. iTunes 9 has some new welcome features, including the ability to organize your iPhone and iPod touch applications within iTunes to sync across to your device.
