iHome reveals clock dock lineup for CES 2012
iHome just loves to get people up and at ‘em in the morning, and they’ve got a new lineup of alarm clock speaker systems at CES 2012. The iW4 AirPlay Wireless 20 Watts Bedside Speaker System, iP18 LED Color Changing Dual Alarm Clock Speaker System and iD50 App-Enhanced Bluetooth Alarm Clock Radio Speakerphone won’t be available until later this year, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t worth a look now.
iHome iW1 Airplay audio system ships September 26th
You’ve been waiting since you heard about iHome’s first Airplay supporting sound system in January, and your wait is almost over. The iHome iW1 is a wireless audio system with four active speakers using Bongiovi Acoustics. The whole thing is powered by the built in lithium-ion battery, making it the ultimate portable wireless audio system for Apple users.
iHome iA63 Radio/Speaker for iPhone/iPod touch review
The iHome iA63 is a fantastic speaker/dock for the iPhone and iPod touch that really does it all. In addition to being a compact sound system that charges every version of those devices, it’s got an FM radio and is an alarm clock with built-in functionality to let you drift off to sleep listening to music. But iHome has taken it two steps further by creating apps that let your iDevice interact with the iA63, controlling and expanding its functionality, or working as standalone apps when you’re away from home.
iHome iD9 rechargeable speaker system review
I’ve always been a fan of iHome’s simple yet powerful product designs, and the iD9 portable rechargeable speaker system is no exception to this. It’s not overpacked with unnecessary features as with many other speaker systems, yet doesn’t lack any necessities that you would expect. It’s definitely worth the $100 price tag for iPad owners who love to take their music with them.
CES 2011: iPad speaker lineup from iHome
iHome has announced an entirely new line of iPad audio solutions that “… emphasize the company’s hallmark design, quality and sound.” Ranging from speakers and speaker phones to cases and stands, the new products will focus on the iPad’s portability, and will be on display at CES 2011, taking place this week in Las Vegas.
Appletell reviews the iHome iP90 Clock Radio for iPhone/iPod
Back in my day, an alarm either beeped until your ear rang or attempted to pull in a radio station (but ended up playing mostly static). Fast forward to 2010 and enter the iHome iP90. This “i” generation alarm clock, comes with everything you need to get you (or your millennial out of bed in the morning). The iP90 acts as your charger, syncs its time to your iPhone, and keeps your phone working, so calls can come through. Unfortunalty, the iP90 is not compatible with iHome’s iPhone app.
Appletell reviews the iA5 app-enhanced alarm clock from iHome
The iA5 is a somewhat unattractive but sturdy alarm clock that comes with nearly everything you’d expect to be included on such a device. Snooze, battery backup, alarm, sleep timer, etc. But when you dock it with your iPhone or iPod touch and launch the iHome+Sleep app, you suddenly get features you wouldn’t have imagined an alarm clock could deliver…and some you’ll wonder why anyone would want.

iHome unveils computer speakers/iPod dock all-in-one
I know how you feel. With your mouse, USB hubs, Boba Fett coffee mug (full of rubber bands, not coffee, of course) and Army of Darkness figures, who has room for speakers and an iPod dock? Well, rejoice. iHome has announced the iH69 and iH70, speaker systems for Macs and PCs. Now, iPod users can dock, charge, play and sync their iPods directly to their computer via their speakers, providing better quality sound and functionality with no extra wires, cables or space necessary.
