Appletell announces Mac OS Classic game giveaway winner
After nearly three weeks of accepting entries, the Appletell Mac OS Classic game giveaway came to an end on Sunday, December 21st. Then, on Christmas Day, we randomly selected a winner from all of those who properly guessed, or researched, or simply already knew that Sierra’s Phantasmagoria easily claims the title of worst Mac OS Classic game of all time. Well, in my opinion, anyway, but I challenge anyone out there to find a more ridiculously, laughably awful game.

Final week of entries in Appletell’s iMac/game giveaway
The deadline for entering Appletell’s iMac/game giveaway is swiftly approaching, so be sure to enter now if you haven’t already. As a reminder, we’re giving away up to 40+ games for Mac OS Classic (the total is dependent upon how many entries we get). And since we assume you’re currently enjoying the benefits of a more modern Mac running Mac OS X, we thought we’d throw in a suitable computer, as well: a used 400MHz G3 Indigo iMac.
To enter, you simply need to give us your name and e-mail address (for notification purposes only), and also let us know if you agree with me on what’s the worst Mac OS Classic game of all time…

Appletell giveaway: 40 Mac OS Classic games (and something to play them on)

So, that’s just what we’re doing. For the next three weeks, we’ll be holding a giveaway of a heavily used but solid 400MHz G3 Indigo iMac. And what would you want with such a thing? Beats us…unless, of course, you’d like to play over 40 Mac OS Classic games on it.
All these games are just taking up valuable space here at Appletell Towers, and we need to make room for the new rod hockey table. So, we’re going to give away this iMac along with 10 Mac OS Classic games (the iMac comes with Mac OS v9.2.1 installed) of the winner’s choice from the list below. For each 100 entries we receive, we’ll throw in another 10 games. If we hit 400 entries, all of the games will be awarded.
Following is the list of games from which the winner can choose…
