USB Fever creates interesting iPhone camera lenses

Most people are aware that the 2MP camera on the iPhone isn’t the best at taking photos, especially if there is a lot of movement or the area is dark. However, if you hold it still enough in the right light, the photos can actually be quite clear for a camera on a phone. One of the bad things about the camera, however, is the extremely limited functionality it has. For example, Apple doesn’t allow you to zoom, take video, or do almost anything. That’s where USB Fever steps in with their iPhone lenses. These products may not be the greatest around, but they do offer some pretty interesting functionality.

Qik to offer iPhone video streaming

Qik sure was quick to announce they will be supporting the iPhone on their live video streaming service next week. Especially considering their competitor, Flixwagon, announced they would be supporting the iPhone in July. Qik is a web based video streaming service that allows the end user to stream video right from their cell phone from anywhere they have a data connection. The streams are automatically recorded and stored on Qik’s servers so that people can watch them later if they missed them live. Check out the video after the jump for more details.
