Labor day weekend game sales and top releases
One of the things I love about digital game distribution is the tendency of publishers to run crazy good sales. Like the one going on right now at the iTunes App Store. Lots of terrific games are available for cheap on the iOS store this week. This weekend gaming article features a bit more madness than usual, since games are on sale for the Labor Day Weekend. Big gaming companies such as Sega, EA, Capcom, Gameloft and more are lowering their prices.
SEGA 48 hour sale underway
The SEGAs of America and Europe have united in a way the U.S. government could only dream about (if politicians still knew how to dream) to announce a 48-hour sale in the App Store. Gamers can save up to 80 percent on some of the company’s biggest titles on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, including titles such as Super Monkey Ball, Shinobi 3 and Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing.
Pangea announces Black Friday sale, new free holiday game

Also, they’ve announced the release of a free holiday app called Jive Turkey Shoot. Because, you know, what says joy and togetherness more than shooting turkeys. And potatoes.
