Video chatting evidence found in iPhone 3.2 Software Development Kit
iDevice video chatting—it’s the rumor that just won’t quit. This time, 9to5Mac found icons and references in the code of the iPhone 3.2 Software Development Kit that point a big old finger at video chatting. There’s even a reference to iChat inside of the iPhone OS. Perhaps Apple is readying iChat to crush compete with BeejiveIM and Meebo. You can see that the icons show that a future app and piece of hardware may be able to make and receive video calls.
Leaked images confirm iPhone Video?
Last minute leaked images before a keynote don’t always predict the future with 100% accuracy, but I tend to think they have a better track record than images that get “leaked” earlier. These images show what we’ve been seeing and hearing lately in rumors. Clearly, this image depicts the iPhone with a front facing camera used for video conferencing.
Anonymous source leaks next gen iPhone details
Word on the street says that the next gen iPhone won’t be quite the upgrade that we (and by we I’m totally just talking about me) wanted to see. If anonymous sources are to be trusted, you can expect a minor bump upwards to all interesting components.
