AppleInsider says that Economic Daily News has a source inside Apple’s Taiwanese supply chain claiming that the iPhone nano will become a reality. This source claims that bidding by some of the suppliers of components for the fabled device is already ending. This rumor makes itself a little more realistic than the rest by putting an ETA for the iPhone nano no earlier than June 2009.

Macworld Expo is almost upon us, so we’ll soon have official announcements to report on. But we wouldn’t be Apple fans if we didn’t want to rumor about what’s going to happen before it’s official. Based on recent rumors, here’s what we may be seeing at Macworld next week; just don’t expect Jobs.

There have been a bunch of rumors flying around lately about the iPhone Nano, but they seem to be adding up to “sum-thing.” Okay, I apologize for that terrible pun, but take a look at this leaked image claiming to be the iPhone 3G along side its fabled little bro the iPhone Nano.

XKSN, a company that produces many different types of cases for various Apple products, has updated their site with a new category that has sparked many rumors. This category, entitled iPhone Nano, has only further fueled the fire when it comes to thoughts of an iPhone Nano one day being released. If Apple did release this product at this year’s Macworld Expo, at least they would be going out with a bang in the absence of Steve Jobs. However, this isn’t just some random site that is producing this rumor, they have quite a nice track record when it comes to new Apple products.
