Epson teases iDevice-compatible portable projectors

Epson has just introduced its MegaPlex line of portable projectors specifically designed for iDevice compatibility. Epson is offering two models of these new projectors: the MG-850HD and MG-50, the former being $100 more expensive at $800 and support for 720p HD with 2800 lumens color and a built-in microphone, while the latter contains the same features minus the HD support to support its $700 price tag.

Project your iPhone videos anywhere

Tired of squinting to see that copy of Ghostbusters you rented on your iPhone? The iPhone has a beautiful screen, to be sure, but a 3.5″ movie can be tough after a couple hours. Enter the new Honlai QingBar MP101 microprojector—a tiny projector with a built-in iPod dock. Videos play through the dock connector, and the MP101 delivers a picture up to 37″ to a nearby surface, rivalling a medium-sized flat panel TV.

Jump past the break to check out the projector’s capabilities.
