Pandora 2.0 released to iPhone and iPod Touch
Pandora, one of the most popular online streaming music sites around, is also well known for their killer iPhone app. This iPhone app, which has previously allowed users to stream music over EDGE, 3G, and Wifi, has recently been updated to version 2.0 and brings a host of new features. Two of these most prominent updates add features to the app that make the music browsing experience more like that off the actual iPhone iPod application. For example, double tapping the album cover will now cause it to flip around and show the artist’s bio and song information. Furthermore, tilting the iPhone sideways will bring up a coverflow view that gives access to recently played songs.

Although it won’t work for voice dialing, it will work for other neat actions. The downside? I don’t believe this is meant to be fully featured voice command software, which is kind of a shame.

Appletell Review – Super Monkey Ball for iPhone
There’s no doubt that one of the most anticipated games for the iPhone at the launch of the App Store was Sega’s Super Monkey Ball. With outstanding graphics and great use of the accelerometer, it quickly shot up to the the top of the iTunes list for most purchased paid apps. After the break, I’ll let you know if it did.
WIll the iPhone’s strong tie to software hurt its sales?
When Steve Jobs first announced the iPhone at Macworld in 2007, he put a major emphasis on how the iPhone, being mostly software, could so easily be modified. He used the example of adding keyboard keys and how Apple wouldn’t need to reship their product in order to change the keyboard. However, now that iPhone more »
