We all kind of saw it coming, and now Apple has made it a reality; the iPod nano now sports a video camera. That’s not all, though; there’s now also a speaker and microphone, along with a built-in pedometer and refreshed vibrant gloss colors. Apple apparently wanted in on the portable video camera market, alongside the FlipMino’s camera. For this reason, the iPod nano has gained it’s own video camera in the exact place where rumors suggested some time ago.

Apple today announced the (much rumored) revamp of the iPod nano line.

Available in 8GB ($149) and 16GB ($199) versions, the new nano comes in nine different colors and features a redesigned screen which takes up most of the product’s face. Battery life is estimated by Apple to be 24 hours of music play, 4 hours of video play.
