iSkin solo vu iPhone 4 case review
If you’re looking for a quality case for your iPhone 4 (or pretty much any other iDevice), iSkin is always a safe place to begin your search. Perhaps more so than any other company, they design cases that offer outstanding protection without sacrificing design. Their solo vu for the AT&T iPhone 4 is no exception.
iSkin solo FX case for iPhone 4 review
The solo FX for iPhone 4 differs from many cases I’ve personally reviewed for the simple reason that it isn’t a hard case, which is a nice change of pace. The problem with a lot of soft cases, though, is that they often end up attracting/sticking to things in your pocket, which can be annoying. The solo FX is a little different in this regard, though.
iSkin duet case for iPhone review
Are holsters necessary for phones? Probably not, but there’s something fun about them—the tactile, tactical feel of snapping your phone out of a belt clip, because, ya know, your phone calls are so important that you need to be able to make them at a moment’s notice. The iSkin duet is actually two products: the revoClip belt holster and the iSkin solo skin for the iPhone itself.
Appletell reviews the iSkin Duo for iPad
iSkin has the iPod and iPhone down. We pretty much know that by now, but occasionally need to be reminded with products such as the Revo4 for iPhone 4. But how about the iPad? That’s a lot of silicone, after all, making it harder to be so precise. But iPad users need not fret; iSkin has nailed it again. The Duo for iPad is everything you’d expect to get from iSkin.
Appletell reviews the iSkin revo4 case for iPhone 4
When I want full protection for iPhone 4, the revo4 is my case of choice. When travelling, or even just going to an event where I know my phone will be passed around a lot, the revo4 is a must have accessory. $40.00 may seem expensive, but the first time you see the phone fall or end up in the hand of some kid who’s using his other hand to wipe his nose, you won’t mind the purchase.
Appletell reviews the Cerulean TX+RX Bluetooth Transmitter and Receiver
Quite often when I’m reviewing hardware or software, I end up focusing on what the product can’t do. If I find myself asking, “Wouldn’t it be great if … ?” too much, I give it a lower rating. Every now and again, though, I’ll review a product where this question has already been answered. Such is the case with iSkin’s Cerulean TX+RX wireless stereo Bluetooth transmitter and receiver, which covers just about every need you could have for it.
iPhone 4 case product announcements, round 2
iPhone 4 pre-orders start today. Are you ready with a case? You will likely be able to pre-order the new iPhone 4 Bumpers from Apple, but are you going to trust your new iDevice to such a sparse design? Personally, I’ll be going with one of the myriad companies with years of experience iPhone case protection. Here are a few more developers to tell you about the options you’ll have.
iPhone 3G/S soft shell case showdown
A few weeks ago, I took a look at some hard shell cases for the iPhones 3G and 3GS. Those tend to be the pretty ones, since it’s easier to be fashionable when you’re not worried about bending. But there are many people out there who’d rather protect their $200 to $300 phone than show it off like a well-coifed purse poodle. It’s to you kings and queens of the road that I dedicate this review.
Last second iPhone/iPod gift ideas
It is getting down to crunch time. We need to get our e-mails, SMS, and MySpace requests to the big guy at the North Pole before it is too late. In a pinch? Don’t know what to get?
Here are a few last minute ideas for the iPhone/iPod Touch owners in your life.
Appletell review – nano Case Value Pack and iSkin DuoBand for iPod nano 3G
It’s safe to assume at this point that we’ll be seeing the 4G iPod nano at the September Apple event next week. And, with new iPods comes the inevitable flood of new iPod cases, leaving owners of the previous model behind. 3G iPod nano owners need not despair, however, as there’ll certainly be no shortage of cases available to them for quite some time.
After the break, we’ll take a look at two armband-style nano cases: Gadget Wrap’s nano Case Value Pack and the iSkin DuoBand.
