Today, Apple released another update to iTunes, bumping it up to version 9.0.3. This update fixes a problem that’s likely been driving you nuts for months now if you have an iDevice. I love the wording; “iTunes no longer ignores your ‘Remember password for purchases’ setting.” Finally, you’ll be able to check that box one last time! If you haven’t already heard by now, the App store is here. I immediately downloaded the iTunes update, but when I logged into iTunes, I still couldn’t access the App store.

What was going on? After a few moments of panic, I realized the answer was actually very simple; I needed to update my iTunes preferences.
