Apple updates all of its iLife OS X apps
Apple has just updated all five of its iLife apps for OS X, mostly with minor bug fixes and changes. Those who have purchased the apps via the Mac App Store can head over there to update, and those who have purchased physical copies can update through Software Update or from Apple’s support web page. Following are the changelogs for GarageBand 6.0.4, iMovie 9.0.4, iPhoto 9.1.5, iWeb 3.0.4, and iDVD 7.1.2 for OS X…
Rumor: iWeb to be discontinued
As MobileMe will be undergoing its transition to Apple’s new iCloud service, many have been wondering about what will happen to MobileMe services that the company had not mentioned as part of the transition. A user of both iWeb and MobileMe was concerned about the product’s fate, and decided to email Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs about it. The one word response, if legit, is not encouraging for iWeb users.

iLife ’09: What to expect
iWeb, iMovie, Garageband and iPhoto have all been upgraded. These are the applications that comprise the iLife suite. If you own a Mac, chances are you use one or more of these applications just about every day. Apple seems to be updating the software with new features about once a year, and this year everything gets a major improvement or two. Some of these new features are very powerful tools that are actually used by law enforcement (Faces). Kinda cool that we can use face recognition at home now. So, lets get to it.
