Apple updates its iWork suite to add support for Lion features
Apple has updated its iWork suite to 9.1 update 6 in order to bring support for new features in OS X Lion: full screen mode, resume and auto save, versions, and character picker. The update is available for download from Software Update, the Mac App Store, and as a standalone installer from Apple’s support document for the release. Following is the changelog for this update…
Keynote, Pages, Numbers updated
Apple released updates to Keynote, Pages, and Numbers last night. The Keynote update “addresses compatibility issues with Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 and Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2008 as well as general compatibility issue,” while the Pages and Numbers update affect only “general compatibility.” Clearly, this means that Apple will be selling iPhone 3Gs for $99.
The ’09 iSuites, Blu-ray on Tuesday?
9to5Mac is theorizing that this Tuesday event could be about more than just the MacBook family. Though Apple’s invitation was unusually specific (“The spotlight turns to notebooks”), 9to5Mac contends that iLife and iWork 09, as well as Blu-ray, could be present at the event. Though I’m fairly positive Steve Jobs won’t discuss anything at length besides notebooks, here’s what could happen as an update on the side…
