Bring iOS 4 Camera zoom functionality back to iOS 5 with ZoomIsBack!
iOS 5 brought with it a change in how users can zoom when taking a picture within the Camera app. In iOS 4, zooming was accomplished by double tapping the screen and bringing up the zoom bar, but iOS 5 instead implemented pinch to zoom. Some users have been unhappy with this change, and if that’s the case with you, you can bring back the older method of zooming (as long as your iDevice is jailbroken) with developer Itay’s ZoomIsBack! tweak in Cydia.
Activator updated to support iOS 5 features
Developers of both App Store and unofficial Cydia applications have been hard at work updating their work to support the newly released iOS 5. A popular free Cydia tweak that is well-known among jailbreakers, called “Activator,” has joined many other Cydia packages in now being fully iOS 5 compatible, even adding support for iOS 5′s new features.
