I generally like Apple’s keyboards, but won’t argue with those who disapprove of the feedback they provide. Some people just like keys that still offer the actual feel of typing. If you’re in that group, you should check out the “clicky mechanical” Das Keyboard Model S Professional keyboard, now designed specifically for Mac users, and available by April 15th.

Back in July I reviewed the Wireless Solar Keyboard K750, a Windows PC keymapped keyboard that works fine with the Mac. Now, Logitech has released an official Macintosh version of this solar powered (sunlight and/or indoor lighting) keyboard, and in some respects it’s a more attractive product than the Windows model…although in one aspect it’s not.

Logitech has released its Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 for Mac variant, incorporating the same award-winning design and feature set as the Windows version, letting you say goodbye to battery hassles thanks to onboard solar cells that power the keyboard using ambient light. But this new model is available with Apple keymapping, and in five Apple-harmonious color themes exclusively for Mac users.

ZNet blogger Heather Clancy has declared Logitech’s solar keyboard “Green Gadget of the Week.” I wouldn’t disagree. Logitech’s Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 is powered by light—indoors or out—underscoring its “green” credentials. Eliminating the potential of getting caught with dead batteries and no replacements at hand is an attractive attribute, but there are plenty of other reasons to like the K750.

Razer, maker of high-end gaming peripherals, has recently released their Razer BlackWidow, Razer BlackWidow Ultimate, and Razer Anansi gaming keyboards with a standard Mac layout. “For Mac gamers, your supreme gaming reign begins now with the Razer BlackWidow and the Razer Anansi,” said Robert “RazerGuy” Krakoff, President, Razer USA.

The Matias Dvorak Keyboard’s high-quality dome (membrane) keyswitches give the keyboard a responsive, tactile feel, with enough resistance to hold the weight of your hands, and since your fingers work less on Dvorak, you’re presumably less likely to develop repetitive strain injuries from typing on one. Matias claims that RSI sufferers who switch to Dvorak commonly report their pain disappearing after a few months of use.

With the release of Steam on the Mac and some impressive choices by stalwart publishing companies such as Aspyr and Feral, the Mac has seen an impressive number of hardcore action titles come our way. But are you equipped? Your Mac may be able to handle it, but can your mouse? Your keyboard? This holiday season, we’ve got a couple suggestions for your wish list, and you really need not look any further than Logitech.

The Mac Mini is one of the best devices you can hook up to your TV, but it’s hard to control the thing while sitting on your couch. Sure, you could use an Apple Remote, but then you’d essentially have an expensive AppleTV, not a Mac Mini. All wired keyboards and mice are pretty much out of the question unless you’re cool with running 10 or so feet of USB extension cables. Instead, let’s look at the GlideTV Navigator.
