While we were all busy updating our iPhones and iPod Touches to the iPhone firmware 2.0.2 on Monday, Apple seeded OS X 10.5.5 build 9F17 to developers. It is being reported that developers may receive their first seeds of pre-release builds of Mac OS X 10.5.5 as soon as this weekend; Apple’s calling it a “maintenance and security update.” The OS X 10.5.5 Leopard update could provide support for new Apple notebooks that have been speculated about for a while now.
