iCalScreenSaver from PocketMac makes screensavers more informative

PocketMac is at it again with yet the release of another very useful application geared towards the Mac operating system. iCalScreenSaver does exactly what the name implies, it turns your screen saver into an informative calendar so that you will never miss another appointment again. It is available now for a slim $9.95.

This app comes in four different themes in which to watch your events fly by: Sunset, Blue-Grey, Tangerine and Green. Also, the user can easily choose the events or calendars they want the app to show, which is a nice addition. Along with that, there is a feature that allows you to keep your private events off of the screen saver so that curious passers-by can’t see your private dates if you don’t want them to. If you ask me, this is a very clever way to make use of the screen saver that we so often see when returning to our machines.

Check out a video after the break.
