It’s been a while since we’ve seen a major update concerning iLife, which makes it that much easier to believe this new rumor that it’s coming in August. Not just that, but it’s also said to have a brand new application. The rumor also declares the death of the iDVD, improvements to iPhoto Faces and Places, a totally renewed iWeb, and more. Just hours before WWDC, Engadget has posted leaked pictures of yet another Apple surprise product, the Magic Trackpad. In the same style as Apple’s bluetooth keyboard, the Magic Trackpad appears to be a MacBook Pro’s multitouch trackpad in wireless form. This is quite an interesting set of pictures since we haven’t heard much of anything about a Magic Trackpad, but the logic is sound behind this product.

The rumors just keep rolling in on Apple’s now legendary tablet. Sadly, they don’t always get better. The latest rumor from DigiTimes claims we’ll have to wait even longer to get our hands on that Apple Tablet we all want so badly. But don’t get too sad, the extended wait is said to bring some benefits, like a lower price and an OLED option.

The BoyGeniusReport received a rumor earlier this week that claims to have the details on Apple’s Black Friday plans. The rumor contains a “leaked” image that displays all the deals for the day, which include up to 30% off iPods (excluding the iPhone and iPod shuffle), up to 25% off Macs, and up to 15% off accessories. The sale would only be valid for November 27th, 2009, and as far as I can gather, only in store (not online).

With the 2009 Worldwide Developers Conference less than a week away, there’s plenty of speculation of what new products Apple will announce (especially after the dud that was MacWorld Expo). Here’s a roundup of the latest speculation (Snow Leopard, iPhone, Mac Netbook, Mac Tablet, Stevenote) along with the liklihood of it happening.

“What’s that?” you say. “Another rumor about a MacBook mini!?” Yup; you know you love it. You can’t get enough, and neither can I. Here are some “leaked” images of a possible MacBook mini. You might want to avert your eyes if you are on a low sodium diet since you’re going to need a ginormous grain of salt with these.

Speculation has it that Apple is ready to announce the tablet device we’ve all been hearing so much about lately during tomorrow’s iPhone 3.0 OS preview. Seth Weintraub, from Computerworld Blogs, has numerous reasons to believe that the rumored Apple tablet is in fact very closely related to the iPhone.

It’s back! The rumor about the Apple netbook, or Apple touch screen tablet, or huge iPhone, or…you get the picture. This rumor has had many forms, but they all point to one thing, that Apple is apparently planning on releasing a netbook of sorts during Q3 2009.

It seems perhaps Apple is poised to release new Mac Minis and iMacs, not on March 24th, but as soon as tomorrow, March 3rd, 2009. This rumor surfaced on two separate websites, at least one of which is fairly trustworthy. The rumor started on HardwareMac.com, a generally trustable source, and was further backed up by OneMoreThing.nl. Not only do they say they that Apple will be releasing new Mac Mini and iMac models tomorrow, but they also have model numbers and specs on the hardware.

We’ve been hearing a lot of whispers about the Mac mini as of late, and we’ve brushed a number of them off as fake. But it seems that either this is one of the most elaborate hoaxes we’ve come across in a long time, or this is actually the next Mac mini.
