New laptop hunter ad even more disgusting

In my ongoing battle against the Microsoft Laptop Hunter ads, Microsoft has given me more reasons to complain with their latest ad. This time around it features a lady named Sheila who is looking for a computer for under $2,000 that will help her with her video editing. She ends up getting an HP HDX, but not before mentioning that MacBooks only come with 2GB RAM standard for under $2,000. Throughout the whole ad, her only real argument is that the PC she purchased has a larger screen size, which is nice for editing.

VIDEO: Apple Releases New Mac Ad to the Web

While surfing Engadget, I noticed a new Apple Ad that I don’t believe has been seen before.

It features two ad spaces, one a banner at the top of the page and one a rectangle at the side. PC and Mac are standing in the rectangle looking up at the banner which features a quote from a review of Vista. PC doesn’t like what it says and so opens a door and pulls a “banner refresh” lever. Hilarity ensues when after 3 pulls of the lever, a positive review quote comes up… of Leopard.

Video after the break.

New Mac vs. PC web ad just gets better

Apple has released a new web ad which is their best yet. It consists of a large side ad with a banner at the top with the quote “Leopard is better and faster than Vista” – The Wall Street Journal in it.

The ad opens with PC climbing up a ladder and Mac inquiring about what he is doing. PC answers that the New York Times should proofread it’s ads, and that the quote in the banner is clearly a typo. PC then breaks through the top of the side ad and into the banner ad and staples up a sign saying “NOT” to the end of the quote. He then tells Mac to bring the ladder; he is going to correct the whole internet.
