About the Macbook Pro update rumors
There have been many rumors lately about the Macbook Pro getting a slight increase in processor speed before the end of the year. Most of the rumors are based on the current limited supply of MacBook Pros, but there are several reasons why this could be happening, not all of which are under Apple’s control.

Third, we sold more iPods than in any prior non-holiday quarter and finally, we generated more revenue and earnings than in any previous September quarter in Apple’s history.
It’s also quite evident that Apple’s iPhone is doing well; even better than expected, actually.

More MacBook Pro pics surface as Apple’s event nears
Engadget has posted some last minute leaked MacBook Pro pics, along with some additional insight as to just what Steve will bring us today. The pics follow the cardinal rule of leaked images, they are blurry, and likely from a phone.
Engadget’s sources claim the new MacBook Pro has not one, but two NVIDIA GPUs inside of it. Now that’s some graphics processing power. To detract from the credibility of this statement even further, the sources claim the MacBook and 17 inch MacBook Pro will not be refreshed today.

New MacBooks rumored to be already be shipping
The rumors of new MacBooks just won’t die. MacRumors has some new details on the fabled devices. Citigroup’s Richard Gardner is claiming to have inside information about said MacBooks.
The report cites “field checks” as the source of the information and describes the new MacBooks with a “very thin aluminum casing, an LED-backlit display and an aggressive entry-level price point.”
This seems to go along with the rumors that have been circulating about Apple’s updated MacBooks, and their trends in design.
