Mariner announces acquisition of ReceiptWallet
At Macworld Expo today, Mariner Software, announced the acquisition of ReceiptWallet, Mac OS X software that allows the user to scan, store and manage receipts and documents. The application will make its public debut under the Mariner brand in the near future, but will first be renamed.
Toon Boom Studio v4.5 now available
Emmy Award-winning Toon Boom Animation Inc. has announced the launch of Toon Boom Studio 4.5 and its Toon Boom Studio Importer to Flash (TBSi). This latest version widens the animation possibilities by enabling users to create photo animation and live-action cartooning. Additional new features include a better integration with Photoshop files, extended ease of use, the ability to print, more export options to iTunes and YouTube as well as the import of Flip Boom and Animation-ish projects. TBSi lets users import Toon Boom Studio projects directly into Adobe Flash CS2 and CS3, resulting in a streamlined workflow for adding interactivity to their projects.

- Opacity Express is now available for those times when Opacity is just a little too much.
- iTaskX 2.5, a project management solution for your MS Project…management…solution…? What?
- New iWeb themes from are available from iPresentee, because not every business has an employee with a kid in high school who’s willing to develop a website for free.
- EasyCatalog allows you work with complex data in InDesign. Ironic, eh?
- Truphone allows users to call the U.S. and Canada for less than two cents a minute, but seriously, why would you want to? We’re all pretty boring and arrogant over here.
- Revnjenz is a car racing thing, but you would’ve figured that out if you’d pronounced it out loud.
- KeynoteUser believes that out there, somewhere, is someone who uses Keynote, and they’ve released Gradient Pack ’08 to prove it.
