How to make Mail.app actually delete Gmail emails
If you use Mail.app integrated with a bunch Gmail accounts, you may also be annoyed by the fact that Apple’s Mail.app does a poor job of handling Gmail’s labels in some cases. For instance, Gmail IMAP messages aren’t actually deleted, they’re stored in the “All Mail” folder along with everything else. Wouldn’t it be nice if deleted messages actually went into Gmail’s trash? They can, and I’ll explain how that’s done.
